What is the Structure of the GRE General Test?

The GRE General Test is a comprehensive assessment divided into three core sections: Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. Some graduate schools may require candidates to submit the GRE Subject Tests for a complete application review.

01
Analytical Reasoning

The exam is a combination of written and multiple-choice question types. Take the plunge into argumentation with one “Analyse an Issue” task and one “Analyse an Argument” task. They are timed for half an hour each, enabling you to demonstrate your problem-solving and writing abilities.

02
Verbal Reasoning

This section focuses on your ability to read, your vocabulary, and your ability to analyse what you have read. Prepare for three types of questions, all composed to challenge your language and thinking prowess.

03
Quantitative Reasoning

Quantitative Reasoning tests your understanding of simple calculations through two categories of multiple-choice questions – numerical and analytical. Start your journey to good academic performance with MTS and achieve your desired GRE score and more.
