Academic Requirements for Master’s Program
Applicants with a bachelor’s degree, having at least a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 scale or equivalent, are eligible to apply for Master’s Degree programs.
Academic Requirements for Ph.D. Program
Applicants with a bachelor’s degree, having at least a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent, in addition to, a master’s degree with at least a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent, are eligible to apply for Ph.D. Degree programs.

Required Documents for the Master’s Degree Program
- Completed application form
- The deposit slip of the mandatory non-refundable application fee, as applicable to the program, deposited in the university’s bank account
- Identity documents are obligatory for Emirati students (copy of passport and Khulasat Al-Qaid) and international students (copy of passport)
- Two certified copies of official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended (the applicant must organize for these to be sent directly to the Office of Enrollment)
- An official copy of the applicant’s IELTS certificate or equivalent (the applicant must organize for this to be sent directly to the Office of Enrollment)
- Recommendation letters as needed by the individual programs
Required Documents for Ph.D. Degree Program
- Completed application form
- Identity documents obligatory for Emirati students (copies of passport and Khulasat Al-Qaid) and international students (copy of passport)
- One certified copy of the official diploma and transcript from each university attended
- An official copy of the applicant’s score on the IELTS exam or equivalent
- Two letters of recommendation from professionals familiar with the student’s academic work;
- Copy of the applicant’s CV
- Statement of the applicant’s research experience and interest written in the same language as the program’s official language of instruction
