Bachelor's in Political Science
I have been teaching political science for 20 years and have developed a teaching style that is informative and engaging. During my lessons, we talk about what's happening today and use past events to help understand political ideas. I strive to establish a welcoming learning atmosphere where all students feel at ease expressing their ideas and viewpoints.
My goal is to make complicated ideas easier to understand and promote engaging conversations. We examine practical situations, connecting theoretical concepts with real-life applications. I customize my teaching approach to match the individual student's learning speed and preferences, making sure they understand complex political concepts. I am dedicated to providing students with the information, abilities, and passion to succeed in their studies and actively shape the political landscape while cultivating a lasting fascination with politics, ensuring it is engaging and enlightening.
Esme was wonderful. Highly recommended.
I think Esme needs to up her game in teaching. She is too shy and quiet to teach. She also doesnt explain too much. I did not have a good time though.
Esme is fantastic! Her classes are like a breeze. She explains things clearly and makes politics fun. Learned a lot!
PhD in English Literature with a focus on Post-colonial Narratives, TEFL Certified
I started teaching in Abu Dhabi, where I was exposed to a mix of Emirati culture and its connections with other cultures. I became interested in English literature in this environment, particularly in how colonial histories shape stories. In my career, I have focused on connecting English literature with the Middle East. I have worked as a teacher at local colleges and as a part-time professor at well-known universities in the UK. I have focused on the meaningful connections and conversations that literature provides, across different countries and time periods.
Literature shows us how societies and their histories are reflected. In our classes, we explore the connection between the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula and the busy streets of 19th-century London. When studying English classics, I like to encourage students to find similarities between those stories and our own history and stories. What would people think of "Pride and Prejudice" if it took place in Dubai? What common experiences and differences do we see when we compare Western literature with Middle Eastern tales? I want to have conversations about literature that bring different worlds and times together. I hope this will help students find their own voice in literature.
Rashed is a fantastic educator. Since I've been working with Rashed's, I've noticed that my 14-year-old approaches reading in a somewhat different way, such as looking up unfamiliar words online rather than simply skipping over them. I repeat a statement to her till she understands the meaning. She seems to be exercising critical analysis as well. He is punctual and really patient.
While Rashed's knowledge is vast, I'd appreciate a more structured syllabus for our studies.
Ph.D. in English Language and Literature
Hi there! I’m a big fan of Shakespeare, and this is why I started to study more about poetry and its magical influences on the audience. I decided to do Bs in english literature and then later on took admission in the same field. My desire to learn more about literature didn’t end there, so I continued my studies and decided to do Ph.D. in English language and Literature. I’ve been tutoring English linguistics, English literature, poetry, history of English Literature, screen literature, Early 18th-century literature, modern literature, feminists’ literature, and other such subjects to undergraduate, graduate, and P.h.D levels of students for 19 years. I can also tutor English literature to O/A level students studying different curricula.
In my sessions, the different aspects of literature, i.e., prose, drama, and poetry, are taught with interactive activities. I usually ask my students to read the content and generate a similar one of their own, like, poetry. I also play role-play games with my students in one-on-one sessions. The type of activity conducted in classrooms is selected with a collaboration between the student and me. I avoid using the drilling teaching method and try to conduct quizzes on a weekly basis.
Highly experienced tutor!
He taught me how to understand and write poetry. He is great!
Dored helped me with my grand assignment. He is a great help!
BA
With extensive experience in Hindi instruction, I have taught students from beginner to advanced levels, covering grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
I’m a hardworking teacher since 19 years. I love to teach and always ready to learn new things. For giving as a guidance to students I’m always available.
MSc in Biochemistry from University of Cambridge
Over my 19-year teaching career, I've dedicated myself to not just teaching science, but igniting a passion for it in my students. My first teaching job was in a rural school, where I had limited resources but endless curiosity from my students. This environment taught me to be innovative and make the most out of every situation. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in different educational settings, city schools to private tutoring. Each of these experiences has enriched my teaching style and given me valuable insights into student needs, especially those preparing for A-levels.
I prioritize helping my students understand how each topic is interconnected. Hands-on experiments, real-life applications, and discussions form a significant part of my teaching. While I teach the subject, I always ensure my lessons are relatable and relevant to real-world scenarios. Especially for A-level students, I focus on honing their analytical skills and critical thinking, preparing them not only for exams but for future studies and professions.
Being dyslexic, I've struggled with science. Elloe used audio-visual tools, making lessons more digestible. It's a different approach. More visual aids would be even better!
She's enthusiastic, but sometimes too much. We once spent an entire lesson on just one concept. Wish there was a better balance.
PhD. Cyber Security
Greetings! My name is Aya, and I’m a PhD scholar, plus an online tutor with excellent tutoring skills. I’ve received an excellence award, best services award, award of honour and many other awards during my work tenure at a university. I’ve worked with students of different nationalities and of all ages. Most of my previous students were from the UAE, the USA, and Hong Kong, which is why I have an excellent command of the curricula being tutored in these three regions. I’m a certified author and senior student-mentor dedicated to helping worldwide IT students.
I like to stick with interesting and interactive tutoring approaches. My prime focus throughout my sessions remains to create a learning environment where students focus more on building their cognitive, critical, and reasoning skills. I teach my students the entire process of solving the questions and problems. As a result of learning the procedures during the sessions, the students can successfully solve unseen exam questions, ultimately helping them score excellent marks. I also try to use possible online and digital resources.
Excellent tutor! She understood my learning problems and did her best to mould the lectures accordingly to my interest. Her sessions were just amazing!
Highly recommended!
Excellent tutor! Humble and patient too.

M.Sc. in World War II History
I have spent the last 18 years studying World War II and how it affected the world. I studied at University College London and learned about military strategies, political actions, and the social and economic impacts of this important time in history. As a teacher, I have had the opportunity to teach in different places, like regular classrooms, history seminars, online meetings and workshops.
World War II was a complicated mix of events, ideas, and people. I use different methods to help students understand better. These include watching videos, hearing from people who experienced things firsthand, and having interactive discussions. I help students understand how different events are related and what the war means overall.I want university students to understand the different viewpoints and details about World War II. By having detailed discussions, reviewing essays, and working on projects together, students gain a better and more detailed understanding of the subject
I learned things about the Pacif
M.Sc. in Information Systems
I started working at a startup company when the Internet was just starting to become popular. It was during a time when many new companies were being created. The early years in Silicon Valley gave me a special view of how quickly technology was changing. Afterwards, I started working in academia, excited to influence and guide the upcoming generation of ICT enthusiasts. Over time, I have worked hard to combine my knowledge of the industry with an academic approach. This helps me make sure that my students are skilled in using technology and have a good understanding of theory.
It's important to stay updated in the world of ICT. I use the most up-to-date industry trends in my teaching so that students are always ahead. I like to teach using interactive workshops, case studies, and hands-on projects. I think A-level students do well when they are encouraged to be creative and try new things.I can help people who want to learn more about ICT. I offer mentoring sessions where I guide them on career options and how to do well in school in this field.
Informative and up-to-date. The class on cloud computing was especially enlightening. I wish we had more sessions on AI, though.
She doesn't teach; all she did was give my son a paper to work on and didn't say anything about whether it was right or wrong. I don't need to pay someone to do that because I could just print him something and have him sit down and do it. It's not worth the money.
