After getting a 6 in my IB Greek exam, I decided to empower other pupils to do the same. I know exactly what the IB examiners want to see on the test. This, combined with my fluency in Classical Greek, makes me capable of teaching this subject. I never compromise on my professionalism. I make sure that each student receives the attention, resources, and support.
How I teach a language to students depends on their current linguistic knowledge. For instance, it is common sense that beginners demand the highest attention and resources. They also need a slower pace to absorb the new language properly. But those students who can already read and write Classical Greek will pick up things quicker. So I adjust my teaching accordingly.
