MPhil in Condensed Matter and Nanoscale Physics
Hey, I'm Daniel Foster. I’ve been teaching physics for 8 years, and honestly, it’s been an amazing ride. After finishing my MPhil in Condensed Matter and Nanoscale Physics, I jumped right into teaching. I’ve worked with all sorts of students - some who love physics and some who are just trying to get through the class. I get it, and I’m here for all of them. I see myself as more than a teacher; I’m a friend who’s here to help, and I genuinely care about each of my students.
I’m all about keeping things interesting and relatable. Physics isn’t just formulas; it’s the way our world works, and I love showing that to my students. I use lots of visuals like graphs, simple drawings, and computer simulations to make the concepts stick. We might look at a simulation of a roller coaster when we’re talking about energy or throw a ball around when we’re discussing forces. I also use tech tools that let us explore concepts together, even when we’re not in the same room. But it’s not all about the gadgets; it’s about making physics make sense in a way that clicks for each student. Whether that’s connecting lessons to their favourite video game, a recent movie, or just everyday life, I’m here to help them see physics in a new light.
He’s the chill and talented teacher we all need. Makes hard stuff easy and fun.
Mr. Foster is the best! I used to dread physics class, but he makes it so much fun. He once explained projectile motion using scenes from my favourite movie, and it totally clicked for me. He’s super patient and always has time for my endless questions. Thanks for making physics awesome. Highly recommended!
I’ve had a lot of teachers, but Mr. Foster stands out. He doesn’t just read from a textbook; he brings physics to life. We did this cool experiment with pendulums that I still remember. He’s not just a teacher; he’s more like a mentor. Thanks for helping me get the grades I always tried for!
(B.Tech)
I have experience guiding physics students in A-level, IB, and GCSE curriculums. I was a college lecturer for many years. But recently, I have become interested in helping students online.
I make my students participate in lessons and can judge a student’s current knowledge.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics
The intriguing physics concepts have always fascinated me. This was the reason why I ended up doing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics. I started tutoring the concepts to my peers and close friend in university. Soon, I started tutoring physics to several students on the internet. I’ve experience in tutoring different curricula. Most of my students claim that they have seen a prominent change in their academic progress after learning physics concepts with me.
I tutor with effective tutoring techniques. I use interactive activities to ensure my students’ maximum engagement. I explain the concepts verbally and conduct quizzes to provide them with real-life-like exam experiences.
Rayyan pinpointed all the problems with my schedule and learning methods. Also, he helped me correct my mistakes and learn physics with him. His sessions were really amazing and helpful.
I liked being in his sessions a lot! He used PowerPoint slides to elaborate on the topics. Thank you, Rayyan.
Rayyan is a fantastic tutor! Highly recommend!
Bachelor of Science in Physics
When we were asked to write essays about our favorite personalities in school, I always wrote about Newton because of his incredible inventions and contributions to the world of physics. Since childhood, I have always wanted to achieve something bigger, just like Newton. This is why I choose Physics as the major of my higher education. I like exploring and tutoring physics concepts to the students so they can work harder and bring innovation to this field. I can tutor different curricula, i.e., IB, IGSCE, etc.
I aim to teach students the steps of solving problems and discovering solutions via logic and reasoning instead of asking them to memorize the course materials. I design my sessions according to the needs of my students. All the activities incorporated into the lesson plans and the same lesson plans' structure enhance my students' knowledge and skills by providing them with practical and theoretical knowledge of the subject.
Imad responded quickly upon asking questions or uploading assignments on Google drive. He kept a detailed report of my performance and shared it with me regularly. He is great!
Really exceptional! Responds quickly and explains the concepts in a surprisingly amazing way. Highly recommend!
He cares about his students and ensures that they have understood whatever he is tutoring. He is a great tutor!
