I focus mainly on the requirements of my students. I try to work with them on how they want to be taught. If i feel like a certain teaching approach will not prove to be much effective for a particular student, i make sure that i use a different approach for them that i can utilize more time in tutoring and delivering quality instructions and material that can benefit them rather than wasting time in miscommunication because out teaching and learning styles do not align. In my opinion, as a tutor it is highly important to make sure that my students feel comfortable and connected with the lesson they are attending. To make sure they are participating fully, i keep my focus mainly on how i should be teaching the student rather than other factors involved. If i am teaching them right as they require, progress will occur.
