When it comes to teaching, I believe every student is unique. One method I use is Contextual Learning. I connect difficult concepts to real-world applications, making theories relatable. Ever watched a pot of water boil and wondered about the science behind it? I’m here to guide you through these everyday phenomena, using them to break down scientific concepts. Moreover, I focus a lot on revisions to help with topic retention. For this purpose, I use Interactive Revision Technique, where I urge students to teach a topic back to me. Unlike many other tutors, I’m a believer in the power of positive reinforcement and always celebrate the 'small wins' with my students. This helps to build a motivating and stress-free learning environment.

I’m also a fan of virtual labs and simulations, such as the ones offered by The Biology Project or HHMI Biointeractive, to bring the thrill of experiments right to your screen. Learning biology with me means cells will come to life, DNA will open before your eyes, and ecology is more than just a chapter in a textbook.
