MPhil in English Education
I have a huge enthusiasm for teaching young minds. My tutoring career began way before my MPhil, and I quickly realized that teaching was a calling. Adaptability is my highest priority. All pupils are unique, and my customized lessons fulfill the needs of all tutees. Over the years, I've seen a consistent track record of improved grades and heightened enthusiasm for English in my students. It's a testament to my efforts and the collaborative spirit I share with my students.
My teaching method revolves around self-motivated learning. I believe that students absorb information best when they’re driven by their own curiosity. So, I employ a student-centered approach. Instead of a one-size-fits-all technique, I create lessons based on the student's goals and knowledge. This guarantees that they remain engaged and see results from our sessions. By creating an environment where students take the wheel, I've seen many of them succeed.
Miss Tracey is excellent! She has really helped improve my confidence in GCSE English. I now answer confidently in tests and school classes. Plus, I have gained a creative ability to write worthy essays. Thanks a lot for your guidance.

Teaching has always felt like second nature to me. In the past three years of tutoring, I've seen how important communication is in my field. I’ve learnt how to share information clearly, ensuring each student understands the topic at hand. My adaptability allows me to modify my teaching techniques based on individual student needs, making the learning experience bespoke.
My primary goal as an educator is to increase self-motivated learning. By focusing on the GCSE English curriculum, I create lessons that not only cover the syllabus, but also spark a genuine interest in the subject. I encourage students to take charge of their learning, posing questions and delving deeper into topics. This instills a sense of responsibility and ownership in their education. I believe that when students see the direct results of their efforts, it motivates them even more. Pairing this with my expertise ensures that each student is well-prepared.
Dan is very good. He helps me when I need guidance and makes me feel proud of myself. After every lesson, Dan offers me constructive feedback which helps me grow. Even when I did not make any progress at the start, he would say nice words about my intention to improve. I wish more tutors were empathetic like him.
