I have been teaching Mathematics since 2011, mainly working with O Level, IGCSE, and A-Level students. I have also spent 7 years teaching in Dubai, where I have worked with students following different curricula, including AQA, IB, and US programs. I have been teaching Mathematics since 2019 and hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics along with a B.Ed. in ICT. After that, I pursued PhD research in Mathematics. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of Mathematics and logical reasoning courses to students following Cambridge, American, and Federal Board curricula. My experience includes working with students on advanced mathematical topics and helping them prepare for higher-level examinations.
I usually begin by discussing the topic with the student to understand what they already know and where they are having difficulty. From there, I use examples and worksheets to work through the concepts before moving to independent practice.
BS Economics and Mathematics
I have been teaching O&A level Mathematics and further math formally since 2016 (right after completing BS Economics and Mathematics). I can teach students from multiple curricula: EDEXCEL, OCR, IB, and CAIE. My classes are interactive and students are allowed to ask any questions they may have during or after the lessons. My students really enjoy these classes and have shown tremendous growth in terms of their performance and interest in the subject.
My lessons are quite engaging. I explain a concept, solve some examples, students discuss their queries and we solve a practice worksheet at the end of each chapter. The students are encouraged to participate in classes and get their queries resolved either during or after the lesson. I try to provide individual feedback to students wherever I feel the need to do so.
M.Sc in Mathematics
Since 2020, I’ve mostly worked with students who needed extra support outside the classroom, whether that’s catching up, revising before exams, or just making sense of topics that moved too fast in school. I’ve seen how a bit of consistent guidance can really change how a student feels about maths.
I first understand how the student is thinking, even if it’s incorrect. Once their approach starts improving, the answers usually follow. My goal is to make them feel more in control of the subject rather than just getting through homework.

I have been teaching Mathematics since 2022, working with students through private tutoring and structured classes. With an MSc in Mathematics, I have experience teaching students from the US and UK, including preparation for PSAT, SAT, and AP Calculus. I keep younger students engaged with basic activities and easy examples.For higher classes, I focus more on problem solving and exam-type questions. I make sure students are comfortable asking questions during the session.
