Hi there! My name is Rewan, and I’m a highly motivated online tutor with years of experience in tutoring. I’ve tutored O/A and Bachelor levels of students in order to help them reach their maximum academic potential and achieve excellent scores in their exams. Almost 90% of my previous students received excellent grades in their exams. I’m working with a goal to help the students learn the Arabic language and literature in a fun way.
My tutoring style is highly interactive. I devise a complete list of every student’s requirements and keep them in mind while choosing the tutoring approach and designing the lesson plans. My sessions are interlinked with each and follow a smooth pattern starting from the easy topics and moving on to the challenging ones. I also like to play video lectures or show different visuals to illustrate different concepts. I also draft personalized notes for each tutee and try to provide them with extensive exposure to the native-like use of the Arabic language. I’ve been tutoring Arabic for 8 years. My passion for tutoring started when I was in college. I witnessed my peers struggling with intriguing concepts. Being a native Arabic speaker helped me understand the concepts quickly compared to my fellows. This gave me an edge over the others and inspired me to help the students with their studies. I’ve tutored O/A and undergraduate levels of students. I want to enrich this tutoring field with my interactive and engaging approaches.
I like to tutor students with engaging activities. My focus throughout the sessions remains on strengthening the student’s critical and linguistic skills (i.e., their grammatical listening/reading skills). I like to start my sessions with a short introduction to the topic. I use digital pens and boards to clearly elaborate sentence formation and other aspects of the Arabic language. For tutoring the semester courses, I look into the objective of the course and then devise lesson plans that could fulfill the motive of the course being tutored. I keep asking questions to my students, which helps me know whether the students have understood the concepts or not.
