I have been tutoring privately to several students from the time i was attaining my MS degree. After that i started tutoring professionally and currently i have been teaching students from Hong Kong and all other parts of the world as well.

Tutoring Approach

I teach concepts before I move towards testing and analysing the knowledge gained by my students. Chemistry becomes really fun when you start to understand the concepts behind things. First I explain things, then I assess the understanding of my students with different assessment methods like quizzes, puzzle activities and tests. This helps me to work better on areas that require more attention from my side. I am a strong believer of teamwork and team mates working in harmony. I consider my tutoring session as a teamwork that needs equal efforts from both sides. So when my student is making an effort to understand, i would work more on my teaching skills to make learning better.

I dug deeper into the roots of the concepts and explained them to my peers and friends during my school days. Since then, I've been tutoring this subject and sharing my knowledge of chemistry with the students. Now, I’m tutoring chemistry to worldwide students studying different curricula, i.e., IB, IGCSE, etc. When it comes to specialized field tutoring, I’m proud to say that I can teach Protein Science, Metabolism, Molecular, Molecular genetics, Biochemistry, and many other fields.

I choose tutoring approaches according to the nature of the students and the course materials. For junior-level students, I use animations or visual lectures to explain the concepts in the best possible ways. For higher-level students, I tweak my approach a bit and modify it into a more student-centered approach where students are asked to solve problems on the spot so that they could share their concerns with me and get answers instantly.
