Master's in Theology and Religious Studies
In the last 14 years, I have studied different religions in various places around the world. I have talked to religious leaders, looked at old records, and organized events where people from different religions come together to learn. I have learned a lot about different religions, which has given me a well-rounded understanding. Attending international conferences has helped me understand the importance and details of religious practices worldwide. I use my knowledge to help students understand how different religions are connected.
In a world where different religions often come together, it's important to approach the study of religion with an open and accepting attitude. I want to make sure that all students in my classroom feel comfortable and confident to express their thoughts and ask questions. My lessons are made to be engaging, combining old texts with modern explanations. I use examples from real life, have discussions, and debates to make learning interesting and meaningful. I want to help students become global citizens and appreciate the beauty in all belief systems.
Mr. Saeed really knows his stuff. I used to find religious studies a bit confusing, but he breaks everything down so it's easier to grasp. I especially like the stories he shares from different faiths; they're always so eye-opening.
Every evening, my daughter has something new to share from Mr. Saeed's lessons. She's becoming more aware of different religious practices and beliefs. I just hope he'd provide more handouts or summaries for her to revise.
PhD in Religious Studies
I have been teaching for over ten years and during that time, I have studied Abrahamic religions, which include Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Over the years, I have visited important religious places and participated in meetings with other experts to learn more about them. This has helped me share not only facts but also stories and insights that make religious study interesting for my students.
My tutoring approach for religious studies is focused on understanding and connecting with the stories and values that are important to humanity. In my classes, I talk about the things that the Abrahamic religions have in common. I show how they all believe in being kind, fair, and having strong beliefs. I started studying religion in college because I was fascinated by the deep and wise teachings in different religious books. In the last 11 years, I have focused on learning and teaching about the beliefs, practices, and rituals of various religions. I've been lucky to work with smart people from different countries, talk about different religions, and find out what we all have in common. During my time as a teacher, I have focused on creating a respectful and open-minded atmosphere. I have had different experiences in religious centers and classrooms, which have influenced how I teach in unique ways.
Religion is an important part of human society, affecting culture, politics, and personal beliefs. In my classes, I try to show how each topic is important in today's world. I use storytelling, discussions, and hands-on activities to get students involved. I want to spark curiosity and help people understand things better, not just share facts. I encourage students to talk openly and share their thoughts so they can understand each lesson better.
Ms. Reem is a good teacher. We learn about different cultures and their beliefs. She uses videos and books sometimes, which helps make the lesson fun. I always look forward to her class.
My son is always eager to discuss what he learned from Ms. Al-Khouri. He's more curious about the world now. I just wish she'd give more notes so he can review later.
Master's in Religious Studies with a minor in Comparative Theology.
For the past eight years, I have been very interested in studying religion. I wanted to learn about the basics of religious beliefs, so I studied the histories, rituals, and practices of the main religions in the world. I have taken breaks from regular school and traveled to spiritual places around the world. These trips made me understand things better and gave me real-life experiences that I am excited to share, making my lessons more genuine and lively.
My tutoring style involves having a conversation with my students rather than just talking at them. I encourage students to have conversations and debates where they can freely share their beliefs and thoughts without any fear. I often use videos and podcasts to give students different perspectives on religious themes. My main goal is not just teaching; it's inspiring curious minds to think about their beliefs and where they come from.
Ms. Zainab is smart, open, and full of energy. Both of my kids like their classes. I would highly suggest it if you want your kids to learn about ideas instead of just memorizing facts.
Zainab is a great teacher for my three kids,taking GCSE. She is very careful and knows a lot. I was happy with her, so I asked her to tell all of my kids. She has taught religious studies essons before, which is great. I've tried a few other teachers in these areas, but a lot of them are "limited" and do the same things over and over, so even the kids got bored. I would strongly suggest her to people of any age.
