Urdu, for me, is a very intriguing subject, and having been taught this subject to several students in one-on-one sessions offered me the opportunity to learn different techniques for handling the student's problems in one-on-one sessions. I can tutor Urdu to both native and non-native Urdu speakers.
Urdu in my sessions is taught by interactive methods. I teach the grammar deductive or inductive methods, depending on the needs/requirements of the students. Further, for tutoring other elements of the Urdu language, i.e., vocabulary, I encourage my students to do a morphological or lexical analysis of the words (depending on the level of the student). More strategies are used for tutoring other aspects of the Urdu language.
