I recently graduated with a major in Mathematics. During my studies, I worked with students and supported them in learning basic and intermediate math concepts.
Learning maths with me is more like playing with numbers.. I encourage students to participate in my class to make them more confident in their curiosity and questions. I prefer the application of fun learning and activity-based learning so that I ensure students get this subject as "playing with numbers" rather than "panicking with numbers". Using these strategies I've witnessed 90% results of my students.
Master in Arts
For the past 5 years, I’ve worked with IB Theatre students across international schools and online platforms. I’ve successfully helped students navigate complex assessment tasks and explore global performance practices as part of their coursework and practical explorations.
My tutoring style is inquiry-based and reflective, which aligns perfectly with the IB ethos. I help students explore theatre traditions from around the world, develop original concepts, and articulate their creative choices effectively in writing. As a highly motivated and exuberant TOK tutor with over 10 years of experience, I’m passionate about helping students strengthen their critical thinking skills and expand their knowledge/perspectives. I’m strongly committed to creating friendly, inclusive and stimulating learning environments for all of my students so that they can learn and master the concepts without any frustration and fear of their tutors. I’ve experience tutoring different curriculums and levels of students, i.e., IGCSE/GCSE curriculum, A/IAL-level, EPQ/IB/PRE-U and SQA learners, Undergraduate students, Oxbridge entrance candidates, and professional candidates. 5 years of teaching English to second language students to all ages. My experience with IGCSE started off with me studying the curriculum and setting the English as a First Language exam with a grade of A*, followed by a series of teaching courses to make this fun for my students and useful! I have prepared students for their externals, and prepared others for job interviews!
Learning a language has to be infused within our daily life, so my lessons teach students to find interesting things to watch, read, and listen to, making the language part of their daily routine. We talk about them during class to practice speaking. For older students, we focus on exam papers and the way to approach the questions and answer them fully within expected analytical thinking processes.
