BSc Hons in Economics
I am very passionate about learning and teaching Mathematics, Economics and Statistics. I learn and research all concepts and basics almost every day, and I found the MTS tutoring platform perfect for delivering my knowledge. Helping students achieve their goals works as a reward to me, and I am happy to meet you all and explore new ideas.
I am super friendly, but I don’t tolerate a careless attitude when it comes to teaching. My tutoring approach is to understand my students' learning styles first and then design a study plan for them. My lesson plans are tailored to individual needs, and this is why they will help you produce better results. You can ask as many questions you want and expect me to ask you too. My tutoring sessions are full of surprise tests, so be ready!
I had an Economics exam in a month, and I was afraid to get bad grades, but Maryam did an excellent job with me. She made me a study plan and divided the exam syllabus into small parts and days. We completed the whole syllabus in 3 weeks, and I mastered each topic. Maryam knows how to clear concepts or deliver lectures in straightforward ways. She is truly an expert and fantastic teacher. Other than academics, she motivated me a lot to do better, and I did too. Thanks a lot, Maryam, and I would recommend all economics students to contact her and achieve the expected grades.
Maryam has been a godsend for my poor grades. We worked together and did extra practice for my poor concepts, and with a clear explanation of everything, I attained better grades than before in my GCSE maths exam. Thank you, and I would recommend you to all.
I passed my exam in flying colours, and all credit goes to Maryam and her effective teaching strategies. 100% recommended.
Bachelors in law
I’m currently studying law for my bachelor's degree at the University of London. Additionally, I work as a teacher assistant for Umar Khan Dawar, a renowned Pakistan Studies teacher in Lahore. I also have experience tutoring students at home, where I've helped them achieve academic success through improved grades, advanced skills, and positive feedback. My goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel academically and thrive as adept problem-solvers and advocates in their future legal endeavors.
In my tutoring approach, I integrate e-learning tools and slideshows to foster interactive learning experiences. I tailor teaching methods to each student's unique needs, leveraging e-learning platforms for flexibility and accessibility, while using slideshows for visual reinforcement. I promote active engagement and deeper comprehension through interactive discussions and role-playing exercises. With clear, patient communication, I ensure students feel supported and motivated. By combining innovative technology with personalized guidance and effective communication, I empower students to excel academically and develop the skills necessary for success in their academic and professional endeavors.
BS in English
I'm a young English tutor with 2 years of experience teaching A-level students. My love for teaching started when I realized how language could bridge gaps and connect people. Being a basketball player and a traveler, I've learned the importance of communication and teamwork. These experiences have not only shaped my personality, but also influenced my teaching methods. Before teaching A-level English, I worked with younger students and found joy in helping them grasp new concepts. Now, as an A-level tutor, I use my experiences to make my lessons engaging and relatable.
When it comes to teaching, I believe in a personalized and engaging approach. Every student is unique, and I make it my mission to understand their individual needs and interests. Whether it's through exploring a favorite novel or diving into poetry, I make learning a happy experience. My lessons aren't about memorizing facts; they're about discovering the power of words and the emotions they can bring. With a mix of traditional teaching methods and creative exploration, I inspire my students.
I really enjoy Zechariah’s sessions. He makes learning English fun and exciting. I just wish we had more time to explore some topics in depth.
Zechariah is knowledgeable and friendly, but sometimes, the lessons feel a bit rushed. I think a more structured approach would help.
Mr. Zechariah has been an incredible tutor for me. I used to struggle with English, but now I am thriving and have all the topics on my fingertips, all thanks to Mr.Zechariah’s unique teaching methods. The way they connect literature to real-life experiences is just amazing.
Bachelors in English
During my two years of teaching, I've developed an art of tutoring session management. I believe that a well-structured session sets the tone for effective learning. My exposure to diverse groups of students has given me the necessary skills to handle different personalities. I'm confident that students who choose to work with me will benefit from this teaching approach, ensuring a productive and rewarding learning.
Clear communication is crucial in my tutoring approach. I adopt a student-centered approach. This means that the individual goals, needs, and strengths of each student are at the forefront of every lesson plan I create. By focusing on the student's perspective and adapting accordingly, I strive to make lessons both interesting and relevant. By combining clear communication with a student-centric method, I provide a learning experience that is both effective and enjoyable.
Mr. Holden is an educated fellow who knows IB curriculum and english perfectly. This makes me confident in learning from him. Not only this, Holden’s study materials are also incredibly helpful. I wish he had more free time so I could book more sessions.
I hired Holden for my son and he’s only impressed me with his vast knowledge. If your child is struggling with English as well, I recommend Holden.
Holden sometimes focuses too much on me rather than the subject.
BS English Linguistics
I’m a part-time tutor. I also run a tutoring academy for O/A level students. I’ve now taught for around 5,000 hours. The reason why I love tutoring is that it is a learning process for both parties. I mainly tutor four English skills (i.e., speaking, writing, listening, and reading) to non-native speakers who want to strengthen their English language skills. Apart from that, I also tutor this subject to the student as a course subject.
I tutor English via video lectures, digitalized native-like voice notes, interesting textbooks, language-specific games, and digital resources. I design my lesson plans myself keeping in mind what my students want to learn and with which procedures. My one-on-one sessions are student-centered, and I take a final test at the end of each session to analyze the students’ performance. This helps me modify my upcoming lesson plans for better learning.
Had a great experience with Ladawala! She is nice, humble, super-talented, and very professional. Highly recommended!
I never had the privilege to study with such an amazing tutor like Yalnaaz. Thank you, Yalnaaz, for helping me pass my IELTS.
MS
I passed an M.Com from Doaba College, Jalandhar (G. N. D. U.) in 2005 and a B.Com from Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar (G. N. D. U.) in 2003. I can teach English to elementary and high school students. I have 2 years of experience in the teaching sector.
I use an interactive teaching style. I build upon the knowledge that students already possess before I begin. I don't think students should follow the set curriculum; instead, I think they should study in the way that they find most comfortable.
Bachelor's Degree in English
I'm Tasmiya Sagari, an ESL instructor and I have guided multiple students throughout my career.

I improve a student's reading, writing, and speaking skills.
A-levels
Greetings, I have done my O/Alevels and currently I am doing bachelor's in Computer Science.
My guidance style works around a simple goal: I work hard to re-ignite student's interest in the relevant course, no matter if it got lost somewhere as deep as the Mariana Trench. P.S: Our class would be full of subject-related memes to keep you awake during the boring parts of the lecture. My communication skills are excellent according to my high school debating portfolio(Casual flex 💪) Coming to my teaching methodology. Firstly, we'd cover a specific topic and then solve topical questions. Finally, we'd move to past papers and then casually greet an A*.
