I, Aqsa Andleeb, have a BS in English (language and Literature) from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad. I have been teaching English as a subject for 4.5 years. I have taught at a school and was appointed as a visiting lecturer for English at IMCG. It's been a wonderful experience teaching students, learning myself, and delivering lectures. I have also taught all subjects up to grade 10 as a tutor at my place for 2.5 years.
First, a teacher should be well-prepared whenever he/she delivers a lecture. Secondly, a teacher should be confident in what they are expressing. Thirdly, you become a good teacher when you consider yourself at your students' place. So, know what it's like to be in your student's shoes. Only then will you be able to understand them.

I expected a more traditional approach to teaching. The discussions are quite comprehensive. However, the basics are sometimes overlooked, which makes learning and grasping the concept for someone like me, for whom English is not the mother tongue, very difficult.
Ms. Santos is a good teacher, but her teaching style might not be for everyone. I prefer a simple approach.

Greeting! I’m a TEFL-certified tutor with over 4 years of experience. My major is English linguistics, meaning I can tutor undergraduate and graduate students studying English Linguistics or Literature. Apart from this, I’ve also tutored many elementary-level and O/A-level students with their course books. My only focus is to help students master English skills to either ace exams or get hired by international companies.
English in my sessions is taught with fun activities. For tutoring each skill (i.e., speaking, listening, writing, and reading), I plan my lessons accordingly.
