I've been teaching for 23 years now, including three years in Iraq. I teach Art, Drama, and English to students from Grade 3 to Grade 7. I've had students in Grades 3 to 5 who couldn't speak or write English when they started, but within three months of teaching, they were able to do both. I use fun materials in my classrooms to make learning enjoyable.
I start by understanding the needs of each student and getting to know them better through conversation. Every student is different, and only by talking to them can we understand their needs and how to approach them. I love it when students communicate and interact with me during lessons.
Advance Diploma (English Literature)
I'm Tehreem, an English Literature tutor with an Advanced Diploma and 2 years of experience. My focus has been on guiding students through advanced literature courses, covering a range of topics from Renaissance literature to contemporary poetry. I have a particular interest in Shakespearean drama and have facilitated several workshops centered on the analysis and performance of his plays. Additionally, I've been involved in helping students prepare for their Advanced Placement (AP) English Literature exams, providing in-depth analysis of prescribed texts and coaching them in essay writing skills.
