I hold a postgraduate degree in English Language and Literature along with a B.Ed in English. With 1 year and 6 months of teaching experience, I've worked with undergraduate, Grade 11 and 12, and high school students. I have a master's degree in literature from Christ (Deemed to be University), and I was an exchange student at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. This gives me a world view and a dedication to service learning. I've been teaching for a year and use the felicitation method to help students learn well. Literature, especially Shakespeare, and general English projects are what I do best. Notably, my students have succeeded by getting good grades on tests and passing entrance exams while I was their teacher. My professional method aims to teach students a wide range of subjects and help them do well in school.

I have taught kids in India and Singapore. I have relevant experience in grooming tutees as per the expectations of the guardians. I have expertise in teaching English, Maths, Law, and Science. I ensure to alter the pattern according to the tutee’s needs. I have taught for four months in a coaching institute in India and for the past 8 months in Singapore as a home tutor.

I like to use interactive methods of teaching by assigning real-life examples. I encourage kids to approach studies like any other activity that brings them joy and helps to deal with their problems precisely. I also use Ms-Word as well as Powerpoint. However, I still prefer the traditional methods of disseminating information verbally. I ensure to mark the tutee’s progress by setting realistic goals and helping them achieve these goals. Overall, I believe in recognizing a child’s strengths and weaknesses and working on them objectively.

I mostly deliver my lectures through PowerPoint slides. This is to make their concepts clear. Their curriculum is provided for students facing difficulty in some specific topic. I suggest my students provide me with or at least inform me about the issue before class starts so that we can spend more time solving the problem. If needed, notes will also be provided to clarify students' concepts. In literature, I mainly teach essays and criticism.
