BSc Mathematics
I have a master of Public Health with a focus in Biostatistics, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and a Diploma in education with a focus in Mathematics. Throughout my 9-year teaching career, I have developed strong communication and teaching skills in the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and other international curriculums. I boast of my track record of helping students enhance their mathematical skills and achieve higher scores on standardized tests. I have vast experience adapting to different learning styles and creating engaging lesson material.
I like to use practical and relatable examples when teaching. Breaking down complex mathematical concepts into real-life scenarios. This unique approach fosters an enjoyable and engaging learning process. For instance, when teaching fractions, I use real-life examples, such as dividing a pizza into equal slices. In probability, I incorporate interactive activities such as rolling dice or drawing cards, and when teaching statistics, I may use the students' time spent on social media as a real-life example to help students understand the concept better. This hands-on approach helps students understand math easily.
Bachelor of Engineering
I have an experience of 4 years of teaching matriculation and intermediate mathematics, physics and chemistry. I have taught several students who scored A-01 grades in their board exams.
I have a friendly and supportive tutoring approach. Students usually lose their confidence when they fail to perform well. I help them building their concepts, as a result of which they start to perform better.
