With over 25 years of teaching experience, I've become skilled at guiding students through O'Level/A'Level English Language/Literature, Sociology, SAT (English), and A'Level Psychology, consistently achieving excellent results. I begin by identifying students' main problem areas through diagnostic tests, then break down the root causes of these challenges. Over a span of 25 years, I've taught English to a wide range of students. I've worked in both local schools and international setups. Most of my students have been high school and college-aged, but I've also taught business professionals who wanted to improve their English for work. Through these years, I've adapted my teaching style to meet different needs. From helping students get ready for exams to assisting them in understanding classic literature, I've tackled diverse challenges in the world of English teaching.
I like to keep my lessons simple and direct. I start with understanding what my student needs and then plan my lessons around those needs. We focus on real-life examples, using news articles, books, and conversations to practice English. I believe in regular feedback, so I always tell my students where they are doing well and where they need to put in more work. My main aim is to make sure students feel comfortable using English in their daily lives.

I started my teaching journey at a university level, focusing primarily on British literature. Over time, I branched out, teaching not just literature but also basic and advanced English courses at several community colleges. I've also been active in various English language workshops internationally, particularly in non-English speaking European countries. The past decade has seen me work extensively with business professionals, enhancing their English for global communication.
I emphasise practical application. If you are a student, we will go over a lot of material to help you understand books and write better essays. If you're a professional, our classes will focus on how to improve your emails, presentations, and other forms of business communication. In my opinion, there should be clear feedback and measurable results for learning goals in a practical, straightforward method.
