I started my teaching career over a decade ago with a passion for the English language and literature at heart. I help students with different aspects of the English language; be it something pro and advanced or basic and simple. I offer online tutoring to those who live far away from my locality to make learning an easier experience for everyone.
English is mainly about basic concepts and interests. If you have interest in learning, it will seem easier to you. On the other hand, if you don’t like learning English but learning it just for the pressure of it, I will make sure that you get to see the creative and fun side of English. For this, I introduce my students to fun activities that enhance the English skills of a person. So whether or not you have an interest in the language or literature, my aim is to help you learn English from a very creative aspect. I believe that every student has a unique style that helps them learn better. I find that learning style and then I work on my lesson plan according to that. I aim to help every student receive a personalized learning experience.
I had always loved reading novels and stories as a child but academically my English was a bit weak. Mr. Salim is a very qualified teacher and he helped me greatly in getting a better hold of the subject.

Starting in local schools, moving on to ESL programs abroad, and finally transitioning to online teaching in recent years, my exposure to students from different walks of life has been vast. From helping students crack international English exams to assisting local communities in understanding basic English for everyday use, my journey has been varied and rich in learning experiences.
I believe in the mantra, "Learn by doing." In my classes, you won't just hear about how the language works; you'll be actively using it. We'll engage with real-world content, from news articles to popular music. Each lesson is designed with a practical task in mind, be it ordering food at a restaurant, making a presentation at work, or just chatting with friends. This task-based approach ensures that students not only learn English but are also able to use it confidently in real-world situations.
Anna gives you straight, honest comments and the work you need to do. I learned that chitchatting is not her thing. Our lessons were mostly about the work and the test. Working with her is a great idea if you care about getting results. She shows you the way, and you get better faster than if you worked on your skills by yourself. When it comes to my TOEFL score, I'm very happy. My goal was 83, and I got 108.
The lessons are great, and Anna is patient. I just wish we had more grammar-focused sessions.
