Whether my student is a native english speaker or non-native, I make sure that they understand the basic english concepts and work on three main areas initially including grammar, vocabulary and literary skills (Reading, writing, speaking and listening). One of my students, whom I have taught for the longest period, has been with me weekly for five years. She progressed from level A1 to B2 by the age of 10. Another student started with me at the age of 3 and is now 7 years old and doing great.
