I completed my MBA from the Central University of Punjab in 2008. I have seven years of experience in Finance in the UAE. My training experience at both Hotel & Restaurant chains has given me an understanding of the challenges a student may face in both settings. I also have a few months of teaching experience in Math in Grades 4 to 7 (Oxford Syllabus). My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has value to students because of the ability to resolve the student's barriers, which will lay the foundation for a deep understanding of the subject.
The conceptual study is what I believe in the most. I don't lecture students or ask them to memorize things. My approach varies depending on the student's needs. However, my teaching philosophy is based on LEARNING rather than TEACHING. There are different ways to create an involvement with their learning process. I prefer hands-on demonstration. And if it's a group of students, then brainstorming is mostly performed and is effective in group sessions. Misconception checking helps a lot to see if the student can identify; it encourages the students to think deeply. I mostly prefer digital boards to deliver a lesson.
