My name is Jenan and I’ve more than 7 years of teaching experience. My goal as a tutor is to help students with their studies, assessments, and final projects, so they can become better humans and contribute to the growth of society. Currently, I’m teaching in an O/A level academy where I deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions to the tutees in a classroom setting. Apart from this, I’m also offering online tutoring services to students worldwide. I’ve tutored numerous students and delivered online sessions at different conferences that primarily talked about improving tutoring and teaching strategies with the help of technology.

Tutoring Approach

I like to tutor students with easy language and interesting activities. I believe that the more engaging the sessions would be, the more students would be motivated towards learning. My tutoring sessions are fun. I don’t like to assign homework but I do prefer assigning different tasks during the sessions. Most of my tasks are based on internet research, and writing tasks. During the sessions, my utter focus remains on strengthening the students' learning skills and improving their critical thinking capabilities. Assigning quizzes and conducting surprise tests are also two very important parts of my sessions.

Greetings! I’m an online tutor dedicated to helping worldwide sociology students with their studies,  exams, assessments, and research-based projects. I’ve been teaching this subject for 7 years. I started my tutoring career as an O and A-level teacher of the IGCSE curriculum students at a renowned institution. There I learned to manage students’ learning needs and taught them sociology-related courses. Soon after this, I shifted to online tutoring and started tutoring IB, GCSE, SABIS, Quebec, and many curriculums being studied on this globe. 

Tutoring Approach

I always try to use a blend of approaches in my sessions. Focusing on different approaches allows me to strengthen multiple skills of my tutees, i.e., cognitive skills, critical thinking skills, etc. I like to assign easy home tasks to the students, such as watching a documentary video, researching the topics, preparing speeches, etc. I like to connect the sessions with each other and create a proper flow. Revising the previous sessions is also my favorite technique. I assess my students on the basis of their performance in the assessments and quizzes. I use different software and online quiz platforms in my sessions too. I try to focus on creating students’ concepts by teaching them the complete process of analyzing the content.

I’m Mona! I love teaching because it allows me to practice my concepts and nurture my teaching skills. I hold a bachelor’s degree in criminology and further completing my MS in the same field. Along with my studies, I’ve been tutoring sociology and criminology in colleges and academies to worldwide students. My past years connected me to different levels of students having different learning styles. I learned to tackle the individual student’s needs and how to design lesson plans that could meet each student’s requirements. Sociology is an interesting but a controversial subject. This is the reason why I like to stay neutral during the sessions. I respect my tutee’s ideologies, and before starting out with sessions, I research the student’s culture to filter out the course contents that could hurt his/her beliefs. Apart from this, students are always open to sharing their opinions regarding the enhancement of the session. I use simple words and always try to explain the course materials on my own without forcing the students to go through the burdensome content alone.

I’m an online tutor. I’ve 6 years of teaching experience in both classroom and online environments. I’m an award winning teacher and certified sociology tutor. I’ve received multiple awards. My extensive network of students consists more then 1000 students around the world. I’ve mainly tutored O/A and undergraduate students with their course books and helped them understand the intircating concepts for passing the exams. 80% of my past O/A levels students have received excellent scores in the final exams and more than 90% of the undergraduate students have seen a surprising increase in their CGPA. I keep my lectures simple and try my best to at least add one activity into the sessions. Activities tend to engage the students, plus trigger the student’s motivation towards learning and exploring the new concepts. I also design personlized lesson plans on my own. Quizzes, and assessments are also integral parts of my tutoring sessions.
