M.A. in 20th Century History
I have taught history for 13 years, with a main focus on the 20th century. I worked at a well-known school in Bristol for most of my career. I helped students learn about important events like the World Wars, the Cold War, and the rise and fall of empires. I have helped many students with their IB projects and exams. A lot of people have said that my advice had a big impact.
To me, history is about tales. I enjoy telling stories from the past to help students understand important events. We examine diaries, letters, and newspapers from that period. This helps students experience what it was like to live in the past. When getting ready for tests, we do a lot of practice. We review past exams and practise writing effective answers. I can also provide advice on how to effectively manage your time during exams. I want to help students feel prepared and not too worried.
Emma and I spent only a brief amount of time working on my IB History. We established a thorough plan for how to approach the task in our first trial lesson and were successful in doing so. She consistently showed excellent subject knowledge throughout each lesson, and if I felt stuck, she was able to provide insight from a different angle. Her ability to really listen and comprehend her students' requirements before determining how to communicate things in a way that makes sense to them is one of his strongest talents. I am grateful for her tutoring, and you can be sure that she will always go above and beyond to ensure that your work is perfect. Additionally, because Emma has a terrific sense of humour, you will always be able to laugh together:) I have no reservations about recommending Don as an instructor.
Great teacher! I just wish we had more classes on recent events, like the late 90s and early 2000s.
When I was working on the IB project that I had to write, Ms. Tremblay provided me with a lot of helpful ideas. Her comments were almost always insightful. She is one of the main reasons I was successful..

Hi everyone! My name is Babiba and I’m a highly experienced history tutor with over 13 years of teaching experience. I’ve not tutored students in online sessions but also conducted classes at different institutions. I can tutor multiple history-related subjects of almost all levels and I can even help Ph.D. and MPhil-level students with their research-based projects. That being said, I can tutor high-level students too who want to master research-based history subjects or get their research published in renowned journals.
My tutoring approaches are always interactive. I try my best to focus on the needs and demands of the students in order to design lesson plans that perfectly befit their needs and requirements. Furthermore, students are also provided with personalized notes and even positive feedback.

Ph.D. in Ancient Civilizations & Their Impact on Modern Culture
For 13 years, I have focused on learning and teaching about ancient civilizations and how they have impacted our world today. I began working as a research assistant at the University of Cambridge. I became very interested in civilizations like the Mesopotamians, Egyptians, and Greeks, and I wrote and published several papers about them. After that, I started teaching as a Professor. I have taught at different universities in the UK, sharing new ideas with students who are excited to learn.
Ancient history is not only about events from thousands of years ago. It involves making connections to the present and understanding our origins. I use both traditional teaching methods and modern multimedia tools to make history more engaging. This makes sure that students learn not just facts but also understand why these civilizations are important and how they have affected the world.
Aiden has really helped me with my history dissertation. I was having a lot of trouble, but he has been a great teacher and friend. He has been honest with me and quickly fixed my work. Other people would probably charge twice as much for the same work that he did for me, which made me value his work even more because I knew he wasn't just doing it for the money. He was doing it to help me. I would tell everyone to get his service because it's the best!
Really appreciated the way he links ancient events to modern-day scenarios. A slightly faster pace in the syllabus would be great.
Doctor of Philosophy in Public History
Ahmed here! I’m a lecturer and an online tutor who is dedicated to making online history learning a fun experience for students. I’m a certified World Scholar's Cup teacher and have helped hundreds of students reach their full potential. My 13 years of teaching experience have helped me meet several international/national students and even educational experts. I’ve also delivered sessions for worldwide students who can’t afford quality education.
I believe in creating a strong relationship with the students in order to provide them with a positive learning experience where they can excel and grow as students. I usually focus on strengthening the students' critical thinking skills instead of just providing them with personalized notes. Having a more focus on the student’s critical thinking skills allows me to strengthen their cognitive abilities, which would further help them in future learning and even in their professional lives.
A very humble tutor who listens to his students’ learning problems with great patience. Highly recommended tutor!
Wonderful and brilliant tutor!
Excellent tutor!

M.A. in World War Era History
I have been teaching for 12 years, mainly focusing on the IB curriculum. I started studying at a well-known international school in Birmingham. I developed a way of learning that combines different subjects to understand the complexities of the World War era. I have also organised many workshops to help IB students with their Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, and Paper 3. These workshops make sure that students are prepared and feel confident.
The IB History course, especially when studying World War era, asks students to carefully examine events with a focus on how they are connected globally. In my classes, we focus on both the major events and the human stories and emotions connected to these events. We examine primary and secondary sources. We look at bias, context, and draw conclusions based on what we learn.Working together is encouraged. Students often work together in groups to have discussions, give presentations, and complete projects. They do this to learn about different viewpoints on historical events. For those getting ready for IB assessments, we practise answering questions in a structured way. We focus on evaluating sources and creating arguments that consider both sides.
She was able to make the time period of the World War quite interesting. However, I was hoping for a greater emphasis on the post-war restructuring of geopolitical power.
In my instance, it was IB History, and Ava is really friendly and tries her best to help you in every way she can. She offers several top-notch sources for research and has a wealth of historical knowledge. Her courses are not only incredibly interesting and enjoyable, but also very beneficial. Ava is a great teacher, and her engaging attitude keeps you focused and attention during the entire course.
I felt like we sometimes strayed from the IB syllabus requirements, despite the fact that the instructor had a great deal of knowledge and an engaging teaching approach.

Ph.D. in Medieval European History
I have spent 12 years studying medieval European societies in the academic world. I studied the Middle Ages at the University of Oxford. I learned about feudal systems and the church's influence on society. I have given talks at many conferences around the world. In the past 7 years, I have become a teacher and have been sharing my passion with students at prestigious universities.
Engagement is crucial. Rather than a one-way lecture, our sessions will be discussions. I'll provide context, and together, we'll understand the causes and effects. This dialogue method helps in retaining information and creates better understanding.Visual aids, such as maps, photographs, and diagrams, will often accompany our discussions. They provide a thorough understanding, allowing you to 'see' the history we're discussing.Lastly, my aim is for you to understand the broader picture – how past events have shaped the world we live in now. With clarity and focused discussions, our journey through history will be both insightful and comprehensive.
My son's A Level history teacher for the past few months has been Ava. He had lost faith in this subject, but Ava has done a great job. He has been looking forward to his lessons and has told me after each one how much he has learned. This subject is very interesting to Ava, and you can really tell by how enthusiastic and experienced she is. Also, she is very calm, friendly, and easy to get along with, which has been great for one-on-one lessons.
After a hard time during lockdown, Ava is getting my son interested in history again. She knows a lot about history and can help students improve their writings and answers by looking over them and giving them advice. My son, Josh, has found his tutoring lessons interesting and helpful. The talks about the writings are also helping him feel more confident. We're very happy.
Ava's feedback on assignments was detailed and constructive. It really helped me hone my writing skills.
