I’m helping natives and non-natives master the English language, including its grammar aspects, phonological awareness, syntactic topics, morphological concepts, and so on. My experience is divided into 2 parts: the first 4 years of my teaching career (I taught elementary-level, primary-level, and high-level students with their academic materials) and the next 4 years of my teaching career (I worked as an IELTS trainer in an academy, plus, tutored professional candidates in one-on-one sessions). 

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approaches are interactive. I prefer using direct tutoring methods in my sessions which are centered around step-by-step methods and focus on developing/improving particular skills. Along with this, I also believe that using activity-based tutoring approaches is also an amazing way to boost students’ learning and cognitive skills. This is why I encourage my students to participate in activities during the sessions.

Hi! I’m Hala. I’m an English tutor and a certified english speaker trainer, now working as a full-time online tutor. I started my career as an elementary school teacher and then decided to serve as a lecturer at a university. My teaching experience has strengthened my subject knowledge. I’ve tutored hundreds of students, and most of them claim to have had a great experience with me. I’ve also received awards on the national level. Tutoring Approach

I don’t like to use old traditional tutoring methods where students are forced to memorize the exact language rules without practically applying them in daily life. I like to use student-centered based tutoring approaches and encourage my students to participate in different activities to better grasp the concepts. All four skills in my sessions are tutored with close attention to improving the students’ critical thinking skills. Students are assessed on the basis of their performance in class and their obtained marks in the assessments/quizzes.

I don’t simply use a standard blueprint to design my lesson plans. Instead, I take notes of the student's learning needs, styles, and preferences, and then use this list to further design my own highly-personalized lesson plans. This allows me to make the lesson plans more relevant and interesting for the tutees, ultimately increasing their engagement rate throughout the sessions. Quizzes and tests are also conducted which follow the standard pattern of their curriculum. Past papers, notes, Pdf books, and other relevant materials are also provided to the students.
