Experience

Computer Science and Mathematics are two of my favorite subjects, and I have been tutoring these subjects to students and training teachers from other boroughs on new curriculums for years. I have taught Computer Sciences and Math in different schools in London and Dubai to students of all ages, grades, and curricula. I have also practiced advanced skills such as Differentiation, Reporting, Pupil Data Analysis, Assessment, and Creating a Safer Learning Environment. My tutoring approach is planning and delivering curriculum, analyzing students' behavior patterns, and linking it with their attainment. My focus is on teaching students such techniques and tips that help them give the right answers in the exams. Before starting my sessions, I ask for students’ old reports to compare them with their current work and share progress with them and their parents. Moreover, my private and online tutoring classes include announced or unannounced quizzes, interesting activities, and question-answer sessions. I identify student’s potential and encourage them to become a better version of themselves.

Currently, I am working as a lecturer in Mathematics in the Punjab Higher Education Department where I am teaching Mathematics to intermediate and bachelor-level classes. My qualifications include a BS in Mathematics and a bachelor's degree in Education. I have command over Algebra and Calculus. I always prefer to teach calculus by explaining both algebraic and geometric pictures. Many of my past students are working in the Pakistan Army and Police Department. One of my students has secured a third position in the board exam.

Learning by doing is always a priority. I have educational skills especially knowledge of educational psychology. The teaching method is always chosen according to the nature of the subject and topic. Mostly I select the Lecture method for higher classes, heuristic method, question-answer method, demonstration method, drill method, induction and deduction method. Method selection is also based on student mental ability special attention is provided to slow learners. At the end of class, a verbal assessment is done to determine student learning outcomes.
