My name is Jerry and I’m an online history tutor who is great at tutoring history-related subjects for almost all ages of students. I’ve been tutoring different curricula that include IGCSE, GCSE, SABIS, Quebec, IB, etc. During the recent years of my career, I used to teach at different schools and universities and further met international and national educationalists to develop and lead historical programs for k-12 students at multiple local societies. I’ve also worked as a GCSE Edexcel history examiner for many years, which has contributed to improving my subject knowledge. Alongside teaching students their history-related courses, I’m also conducting research and working on multiple research projects, which brings me to the position where I can help students with a highly-complex history research-related subjects. 

Tutoring Approach

I like to design my lesson plans according to the needs of the students. Oftentimes, I do use the standard lesson plan templates and mold them according to the needs of the students. However, depending on the student’s needs, I sometimes design the entire lesson plans on my own. Students are encouraged to start a debate on historical concepts during online or face-to-face sessions. With this, students tend to focus more on the ongoing discussions and ultimately master the historical concepts faster. Quizzes and assessments are also integral components of my sessions, that follow a pattern of the type of the particular curriculum the student is studying in his institution.
