I like lessons to have a good balance between explanation and practice. We work through the topic together first, then I give students problems to attempt themselves so I can see what they have understood and what needs another explanation.

I have been working with students and have focused on helping them improve their academic performance in Mathematics since 2015. I use regular practice and written work as part of my lessons to keep students engaged with what they are learning.

B.E Computer Science
I am an Additional Mathematics teacher with extensive teaching experience and a strong understanding of the A-level curriculum. I work with students on advanced mathematical topics and help them prepare for the types of questions they encounter throughout their course.
I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, especially when a topic isn't clear the first time. I keep lessons interactive and encourage students to explain their thinking so we can address the exact part of a problem they are finding difficult.
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering
I'm a Mechanical Engineer with a Ph.D. I teach Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, and Physics, bringing an engineering perspective to subjects that require logical and analytical thinking.
I want students to understand how to approach an unfamiliar question, not just remember a solution. I use problem-solving exercises to help them think through the information given and decide which mathematical method to apply.
B.Tech in Information Technology
I am an Additional Mathematics teacher with experience preparing A-level students for their examinations. My lessons combine topic revision with exam practice so students can apply what they have learned to different types of questions.
Past papers are an important part of my lessons, particularly as exams approach. I also give students homework to keep them practicing between sessions and to identify topics that need another look.

I am a Mathematics tutor and currently work as a PGT Maths teacher. I have taught students from the U.S. and worked with A-level and IB curricula. My experience also includes contributing to preparation for GMAT, GRE, SAT, and CAT at an educational institution.
I first pay attention to the areas where a student is struggling and the concerns they bring to the lesson. From there, I decide what needs more explanation, practice, or revision rather than treating every student in exactly the same way.
MA Mathematics
I teach Additional Mathematics and Further Mathematics to elementary and high-school students. With an MA in Mathematics, I enjoy working with students on topics that require a deeper understanding of mathematical methods and problem-solving.
As my lessons are online, I make use of collaborative documents for shared notes and problem-solving. This allows us to work on the same question together, keep track of the working, and return to important points when reviewing a topic.

One technique I use is having students explain a concept back to me. If they can teach the idea in their own words and demonstrate it with a question, it gives us a useful check that they have understood it rather than simply followed my explanation.
