My tutoring experience has been amazing. My students are always happy and cheerful to see me in class. Most of my past students are teaching German in various schools.
My tutoring approach is simple but effective. A placement test to assess the level of any new student. We then start with the Pronunciation Rules. Tackle the alphabet, numbers, etc. Then conjugation of the present tense. As regards reading, I read through each text very fast. Then ask students to repeat after me several times. I would then ask each student to read the text all alone. I also use Video and CDs to reinforce their listening, learning and speaking practice. We do have a conversational German weekly. Free print-outs on each lesson!
