MSc MATHEMATICS
I hold a Master's degree in Math and have spent the last 18 years helping students master the subject. I have dedicated a few years of my career specifically to GCSE and A-Level prep.
To make tough, abstract math ideas easy to understand, I love using normal, everyday examples that you already see around you. Connecting math to real life makes it way more interesting, takes the stress out of the textbook, and helps the formulas actually stick in your head.
Master in Mathematics
As an experienced professional in the education field, I have witnessed the transformative power of education firsthand. My 17+ years of experience have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of classroom dynamics and the ability to support teachers effectively. I thrive in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every student can flourish. (INDIAN CBSE, ICSE CURRICULUM)
My commitment to student growth and development has been demonstrated through my previous roles. I have assisted teachers in creating impactful lesson plans, provided individualized support to students, and maintained a positive classroom atmosphere. My excellent communication skills and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds have consistently yielded positive results.
Electrical Engineer
With 17 years of teaching experience in chemistry, physics, and mathematics, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom. Guiding students through complex concepts, fostering critical thinking skills, and instilling a passion for STEM subjects are my priorities. My dedication to personalized instruction and creating engaging learning environments has consistently empowered students to excel academically and beyond.
In teaching chemistry, physics, and mathematics, I prioritize a hands-on approach that emphasizes practical application alongside theoretical understanding. Through interactive experiments, problem-solving activities, and real-world examples, I aim to make abstract concepts tangible and relevant to students. Encouraging inquiry, curiosity, and collaboration, my teaching approach fosters deep comprehension and equips students with the skills needed for success in STEM fields.
Masters in Statistics
I have a Master's degree in Statistics from one of Pakistan's premier institutions, Government College University Lahore, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Lahore College. My teaching journey includes stints at several international schools in Saudi Arabia, such as Pakistan International School English Section Riyadh and Middle East International School Riyadh, where I primarily taught Mathematics. My emphasis has always been on ensuring students grasp concepts thoroughly, which has consistently resulted in top-performing classes.
I advocate for active learning, encouraging students to participate and engage with the material actively. Together, we work through problems step by step, focusing on building a deep understanding of the subject to instill confidence in them. My approach is to guide rather than merely provide answers, fostering critical thinking skills in students. I prioritize open and honest communication, ensuring clarity and mutual respect in our interactions, while also expecting the same from my students.
MSc in Pure Mathematics
I began my career in mathematics after completing my MSc and have been teaching for the past 17 years. I’ve worked with high school students, covering subjects like algebra, geometry, calculus, and introductory number theory. I have helped students who struggle with basics as well as those aiming to improve their overall performance. I also have experience in planning lessons and organizing content.
I prioritize clarity and precision in teaching mathematical concepts. Every math problem follows a specific pattern and method. I break problems into smaller parts so students can see how each step works. This helps to avoid memorization and encourages real understanding. I believe it's important for students to practice various types of problems for each topic in order to fully understand it. During lessons, I ask students to try questions while I guide them, which helps develop analytical thinking skills. When teaching complex topics, I find it helpful to repeat the information in different ways. This helps students understand the concept better over time.
Carlos taught my 7-year-old boy math. Carlos is an easy-going and skilled teacher who was always ready for his classes. He helped my kid prepare for the 7+ King's College test, which he passed even though he only had a short time to study. If you need help with math, I strongly suggest that you talk to Carlos.
Carlos is always on time, well-organized, and patient. I thought it was great that he was always ready because he read the materials I sent him before our meetings. I really think you should work with Carlos, and not just for statistics. For any kind of math.

Paloma is a fantastic tutor who helped me in GCSE math. I highly recommend her. Many thanks.
Miss Paloma is outstanding! I didn’t just struggle with math, but also motivation and confidence. Working with Paloma has helped me to get back on track. She’s a great role model as well as a terrific teacher. The lessons are well-prepared and the follow-up report gives comprehensive feedback on what was covered and what needs more work.
M.Sc., M.Phil
With an M.Phil. in Mathematics, an M.Sc., and a B.Ed. in Mathematical Science, I have been teaching National and International curricula since 2010. In my online tutoring, I leverage tools like GeoGebra, Desmos, and PolyPad to create interactive, visual learning experiences. My past students have consistently excelled: 75% achieved B or above in board examinations, and many have won state-level mathematics olympiad awards.
With a student-centered and adaptive approach, I guide learners by first identifying individual learning gaps through quick diagnostic assessments, then tailoring instruction to build confidence and conceptual clarity. Teaching methods include using digital tools for real-time visualization, differentiated instruction for mixed ability levels, and inquiry-based learning to foster critical thinking. I also integrate AI tools to create engaging, interactive content.
Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics Doctoral
A highly professional tutor with over 16 years of tutoring experience. I worked as a school math tutor and head of the department in the UAE’s best institutions. My past experience has taught me different tutoring techniques and methods. I, now, can proudly say that I’m skilled enough to tutor almost all levels of students. I can also supervise research works and help students with their final-year math projects.
I use student-centered tutoring methods. Creating a friendly environment for my students is my only focus, where students feel free to share their opinions and suggestions. I make use of digital resources to explain the concepts and problem-solving strategies to the students. I also give students extra time to share their queries.
