BSc Mathematics
I have years of experience teaching environmental management and helping students understand ecological footprints, carbon emissions, and conservation strategies.
I use real-world applications, such as eco-friendly business models and green technology case studies, to engage students in sustainability practices.
Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics Doctoral
Greetings! I’m a mathematician and a tutor dedicated to making math concepts easy for students. I’ve extensive experience in tutoring K-12, IB, IGSCE, GSCE, and other levels of students. I’ve also served as a university teacher, where I taught basic maths, trigonometry, geometry, calculus, and many other related subjects to several undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students. As a teacher, I’ve also supervised my students’ research articles and helped them publish their work in international journals.
I teach math with fun and amazing activities. I design lesson plans on my own and personalize each aspect of the lesson plan according to the student’s needs. I assign different tasks to activate my students’ minds during the sessions. Further, they’re also given quizzes.
Very polite and humble tutor! he explained all the questions slowly and with patience. Thank you, Lama.
He is smart, polite, and very talented! I loved his one-on-one sessions.
He knew how to manage one-on-one sessions like a pro! He helped me pass my MPhil in Double Maths. Everything went so well!
Master of Science in Mathematics
I have been teaching for around 20 years at almost all levels. I started during college and have continued tutoring. Over this time, I've worked with students at different levels, including IGCSE, A-Level, SAT, and MCAT. As a tutor, my prime concern is building students’ thinking and problem-solving skills and helping them perform better in exams.
I know students find the math subject boring, so I try to keep my lessons simple and engaging by using examples and small activities during class. This helps students to understand concepts and formulas better. We go step by step and practice together until the concept becomes clear.
Very professional tutor! He explained every concept with proper details. Highly recommended!
Very helpful! He ensured I understood every concept before moving on to the next topics. I highly recommend him to the physics students.
Of all the tutors I ever had, Krishnan was one of the best ones. He made the complex concepts easy to understand. He’s humble, patient, and super-talented too! I am going to hire him again!
M.A
I have more than 19 years of experience in teaching and management. With a Master's (M.A) degree in Educational Planning and Management, I possess a comprehensive understanding of planning and management in education.
I don't do the stiff, old-school lecture thing. Instead, I use my background in educational planning to figure out exactly where things went sideways and plan customized lessons from there.
PhD in Discrete Mathematics
Hi there! I’m a passionate math tutor with more than 19 years of tutoring experience. I can tutor different fields of maths, i.e., algebra, geometry, calculus, integration, linear algebra, and other related fields. I can assist almost all levels of students with math.
I use step-by-step procedures to explain the concepts in detail. I focus on building my students' concepts and teaching them the entire process of solving questions. This ultimately prepares them for future exams. I don’t ask my students to memorise every step of the questions. Instead, they’re encouraged to solve the equations with proper reasoning and logic.
Osmar tutored my daughter with math. I was glad to see my daughter grow and learn the concepts without getting offended by the complexity of the subject. Osmar is great!
A very nice tutor. He listens to his students with great patience and never gets offended by the number of or repetition of students’ questions.
A perfect tutor! Highly recommend!
MSc MATHEMATICS
I hold a Master's degree in Math and have spent the last 18 years helping students master the subject. I have dedicated a few years of my career specifically to GCSE and A-Level prep.
To make tough, abstract math ideas easy to understand, I love using normal, everyday examples that you already see around you. Connecting math to real life makes it way more interesting, takes the stress out of the textbook, and helps the formulas actually stick in your head.
Master in Mathematics
As an experienced professional in the education field, I have witnessed the transformative power of education firsthand. My 17+ years of experience have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of classroom dynamics and the ability to support teachers effectively. I thrive in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every student can flourish. (INDIAN CBSE, ICSE CURRICULUM)
My commitment to student growth and development has been demonstrated through my previous roles. I have assisted teachers in creating impactful lesson plans, provided individualized support to students, and maintained a positive classroom atmosphere. My excellent communication skills and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds have consistently yielded positive results.
Electrical Engineer
With 17 years of teaching experience in chemistry, physics, and mathematics, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom. Guiding students through complex concepts, fostering critical thinking skills, and instilling a passion for STEM subjects are my priorities. My dedication to personalized instruction and creating engaging learning environments has consistently empowered students to excel academically and beyond.
In teaching chemistry, physics, and mathematics, I prioritize a hands-on approach that emphasizes practical application alongside theoretical understanding. Through interactive experiments, problem-solving activities, and real-world examples, I aim to make abstract concepts tangible and relevant to students. Encouraging inquiry, curiosity, and collaboration, my teaching approach fosters deep comprehension and equips students with the skills needed for success in STEM fields.
Masters in Statistics
I have a Master's degree in Statistics from one of Pakistan's premier institutions, Government College University Lahore, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Lahore College. My teaching journey includes stints at several international schools in Saudi Arabia, such as Pakistan International School English Section Riyadh and Middle East International School Riyadh, where I primarily taught Mathematics. My emphasis has always been on ensuring students grasp concepts thoroughly, which has consistently resulted in top-performing classes.
I advocate for active learning, encouraging students to participate and engage with the material actively. Together, we work through problems step by step, focusing on building a deep understanding of the subject to instill confidence in them. My approach is to guide rather than merely provide answers, fostering critical thinking skills in students. I prioritize open and honest communication, ensuring clarity and mutual respect in our interactions, while also expecting the same from my students.
MSc in Pure Mathematics
I began my career in mathematics after completing my MSc and have been teaching for the past 17 years. I’ve worked with high school students, covering subjects like algebra, geometry, calculus, and introductory number theory. I have helped students who struggle with basics as well as those aiming to improve their overall performance. I also have experience in planning lessons and organizing content.
I prioritize clarity and precision in teaching mathematical concepts. Every math problem follows a specific pattern and method. I break problems into smaller parts so students can see how each step works. This helps to avoid memorization and encourages real understanding. I believe it's important for students to practice various types of problems for each topic in order to fully understand it. During lessons, I ask students to try questions while I guide them, which helps develop analytical thinking skills. When teaching complex topics, I find it helpful to repeat the information in different ways. This helps students understand the concept better over time.
Carlos taught my 7-year-old boy math. Carlos is an easy-going and skilled teacher who was always ready for his classes. He helped my kid prepare for the 7+ King's College test, which he passed even though he only had a short time to study. If you need help with math, I strongly suggest that you talk to Carlos.
Carlos is always on time, well-organized, and patient. I thought it was great that he was always ready because he read the materials I sent him before our meetings. I really think you should work with Carlos, and not just for statistics. For any kind of math.
