MCA,B.ed
I have a Master’s in Computer Applications along with a B.Ed, and my past 10 years as a math tutor. It was a very enriching experience in my life because I had to teach students using different methods based on their individual needs. It was truly amazing.
For some students, one approach may be easier to understand, while others may struggle. In such cases, I find that storytelling related to our concept can be quite effective.
MSc in Applied Mathematics
I started teaching at the University of Doha after finishing my master's degree. In the last ten years, I have taught math at different levels, including high school algebra and college-level calculus. I have experience helping students get ready for the math sections of the SAT and GRE exams. I have been a member of academic research teams and have helped write papers on mathematical models in biology. I have also offered private tutoring to students who are having difficulty with math. I like to stay updated with the latest teaching methods and have attended training programs to improve my teaching skills.
Math is often seen as a tough subject, but with the right guidance, anyone can understand its concepts. I prioritize understanding the problem rather than solely seeking the answer in my teaching approach. When we teach geometry, we can talk about the shapes and patterns we see in nature. To get better at math, it's important to practice. I make sure that students solve different problems until they feel confident. I offer helpful strategies and tips for students getting ready for exams. These include test-taking techniques and advice on managing time effectively.
Aisha worked with my daughter as a teacher for a year to get her ready for the 11+ exams (South West London independent schools). She used to go to a public elementary school, so she needed help learning the material more deeply and getting the confidence and "technique" to solve the more difficult problems and puzzles that kids often see on tests. Her tests were very hard, but she did great on them. These included the "notoriously challenging" 3-part math paper at London's most selective girls' school. The offer letter even said that she got a perfect score on a math test at another school. Once she knew everything she needed to know, Aisha put most of her attention on the hardest papers and worksheets. This, along with the very methodical way she solved problems, helped her get those results. Aisha is also very consistent and good at giving feedback, both good and bad. I strongly suggest that you hire her.
Great teacher, though I wish we had more online resources to complement our sessions.
My son was struggling with algebra. After sessions with Aisha, not only has he improved, but he now enjoys math!

MSc
I have taught Mathematics for the past 10 years to students of various backgrounds and curriculums. I have completed my Masters in Mathematics and currently teach students of A-level curriculum.
My tutoring approach is student-centric. I personalize my teaching methods according to the requirements of my students. I provide organized learning plans that save time. Students usually run away from mathematics, but I use an easy-to-understand approach to simplify difficult topics.
Bachelor
Aside from my degree in math, I have also passed the tough International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) test. I have been a Math Olympiad scholar as well. My teaching career started while I was still in college and I have taught from the slowest students to the bright toppers. I love passing on my hard-earned knowledge to deserving students. I have also served at schools in different countries.
For some students, more practice problems are needed to improve and I am happy to provide that and guide the student through a solution. We are all different and learn in different styles. I try my best to unlock that potential that I see in every student who comes to me.

I have taught math courses to school, college, and university students in different settings. I am familiar with British and American curriculums and have 10 years of experience in this field. My students have passed with flying colors and developed an interest in the subject.
I am a very humble and committed tutor. As a teacher, my main role is to assist learning. I judge learning via tests, discussions, and participation. In a student-centered lesson, teaching and assessment go hand-in-hand.
MPhil
I hold an M.Phil degree and have spent the last 10 years teaching math across both schools and colleges. Over my decade-long career, I’ve even supervised and mentored more than 50 math graduates. Whether you are dealing with basic high school algebra or advanced college-level calculus, I have experience to help you get through it.
I don't think math lessons should be a stressful. My main goal is to take those heavy, confusing textbook concepts and strip them down into easy-to-understand pieces.
Ms in Aerospace Engineering
I’m an Aerospace Engineer and an experienced math tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience. I’ve tackled the learning needs of multiple students coming from different backgrounds, mainly from Hong Kong, Russia, China, the USA, the UAE, and Australia. As a math tutor, I’ve contributed to the growth of students and helped them achieve a number of excellent scores in their final exams. Along with all this, I’m also running a small virtual academy where my team of 20 math tutors and I help the need-based math students master the concepts from the comfort of their homes.
I usually use real-life examples for elaborating on the concepts in order to help the students see the relevance of the mathematical concepts to their daily lives and the world around them. Further, using apps, math games, and other digital tools for explaining the problem-solving process is also my favorite tutoring method. Students are also provided with past papers and other relevant resources.
I started taking sessions from him a few months ago. I’m literally enjoying his sessions and having a lot of fun learning the math concepts with him.
He is a wonderful tutor! I won the Math Bee competition held in 2022 with his professional assistance. Highly recommended!
I would highly recommend Zayan to students who want to master the core math concepts in a highly entertaining environment. He is really great at keeping the students engaged!
Bs Mechanical Engineering
Mehnaz here! I’m an experienced math tutor who has helped a number of students achieve excellent scores on their exams and even helped statisticians learn Calculus. As a senior member of the Calculus department, I had the opportunity to collaborate with senior educationists to develop lesson plans for professional candidates who wanted to master calculus for career purposes. I’ve experience tutoring in both online and f2f contexts. I can tutor numerous curricula and even multiple undergraduate-related courses, i.e., Mechanics of Materials, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design Dynamics and Control Manufacturing, Processes Materials Science and Engineering, Engineering Graphics and Design, Computational Methods in Engineering Heat, Transfer Mechatronics and Robotics, Finite Element Analysis, Engineering Economics, and Project Management, etc.
I like to explain each and every detail of the problem-solving process. I like to keep the students updated on their performance too. More emphasis on cognitive construction is given in my sessions. This prepares them for future challenging courses and exams. I usually work in a student-centered learning environment where students are encouraged to inquire about a certain problem on their own under my supervision. I also believe in reinforcing the students and praising their success to further motivate them for learning.
Excellent tutor with excellent tutoring skills! She did everything in her power to help me master the core math concepts. Thank you, Mehnaz!
I hired her for my son studying in 5th grade. My son genuinely enjoyed learning with her!
Wonderful tutor!
B.Sc. Mathematics and Informatics.
I started tutoring math when I graduated from the university. My past experience in tutoring has increased my knowledge of mathematics and strengthened my tutoring math skills. I tutor algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, functions, integration, topology, and other related topics to students studying different curricula, i.e., IB, IGCSE, etc. I can also help graduate students with their research or thesis works.
My tutoring approaches are always interactive and based on a student-centered learning environment. I try my level best to help students learn the entire process of problems rather than forcing them to memorize exact questions. My activities foster students’ engagement and allow them to find the answer through reasoning and logic.
She is an excellent tutor. This one review isn’t enough to depict her humbleness and greatness. She surely deserves more than 5 stars!
Best tutor, highly professional, humble, and a good listener. I really liked her sessions.
Very nice tutor with a high level of patience. Thank you for guiding me throughout my last semester.
