I started my career as an online English-speaking trainer. I used to train students on Skype and taught them how to use English in their daily lives. Further, I also conducted special sessions for ESL learners who wanted to pass interviews. I’m here to help you learn English to pass a specific exam or to become a pro-English speaker in practical life. I can tutor all levels of students, either native or non-native, all over the world.
I use student-centered tutoring approaches in the sessions. I allow my students to work through different tasks during the sessions. I use simple language to explain the concepts to the students.

IB Diploma
I’m Sonia, a highly experienced tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience. I’ve tutored almost every TOK-related subject to numerous students in one-on-one sessions. My list of past students has around 1500 students. I’ve received awards for conducting IB sessions with advanced tutoring methodologies. My goal is to fill the online tutoring world with advanced and personalized tutoring methodologies.
I like to make sessions interactive and engaging via activities. I explain the concepts on my own and if possible also draft personalized notes for each tutee. My tutees’ attendance must be 90% and they must attempt all the quizzes/assessments. I am fully against using the drilling tutoring methods, instead, I like to use constructivist tutoring approaches in my sessions.

Master Degree
I have taught both the British and American curriculums, but I am more into the American curriculum. I start lessons with basic concept development, integrate technology into the lesson, and use different valid methods to solve a problem. Every student studies differently, so I focus on the student's learning style.
It will be an interactive class. I always make sure whatever is taught is understood clearly. I give small tests after the portions are completed. I completely follow the textbook chapters. During the examination time, model question papers are being discussed.
B.Sc. Mathematics and Informatics
I have a Master's in Mathematics degree. I have been tutoring students from different countries. I have experience teaching IB, IGCSE, and undergraduate-level mathematics, covering topics like algebra, calculus, and basic statistics. Over time, I’ve worked with both students who need help with basics and those aiming for higher grades.
I explain the concepts with step-by-step procedures. I also encourage my students to solve problems via logic within the sessions. So I could help them on the spot. I encourage students to think through problems instead of just memorizing steps. I also allow my students to share their problems with me so we can collectively solve them.
