BSc mathematics
I specialize in Additional Mathematics for high-school students. My focus is not only on individual topics but also on showing students how one concept leads into another.
I introduce new topics with examples that are easy to relate to and then increase the level of difficulty as the student becomes comfortable. I use exam-style questions towards the end of a topic to see how well the student can apply what we have covered.
MSc in Mathematics
My name is Neha Anand, and I have been teaching Additional Math since 2022. My experience includes helping students improve their understanding of concepts, complete their syllabus on time, and prepare for exams through regular practice.
I don't overburden you with knowledge; instead, I adjust our speed to make sure you feel comfortable. I focus on one concept at a time, making sure it is clear before moving forward. I guide you through practice during the session and only increase difficulty when you’re ready.
M.Sc. in Mathematics
I hold an M.Sc. and B.Sc. Honors in Mathematics and have been working as an Associate Faculty member since 2020. My teaching experience includes preparing students for Mathematics competitions such as AMC, Math Kangaroo, and Math Olympiad.
I like to keep practice varied, especially when students are working through a large number of questions. I also share progress updates so students can see which areas they have covered and what still needs attention.
B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering
I have worked as a Mathematics lecturer and also have experience teaching Additional Mathematics. I am familiar with the A-level Additional Mathematics curriculum and focus on helping students understand the working behind mathematical solutions.
I encourage students to explain their thinking while solving a problem. If a question has several stages, I go through each part clearly so they can see how the solution develops rather than memorizing the final steps.
MSc Industrial Engineering
I teach Additional Mathematics to students following IB, GCSE, and A-level programs. My background in Industrial Engineering gives me a strong quantitative foundation, which I use when working through mathematical problems and explaining how different methods can be applied.
I prefer a steady pace during lessons, particularly when we are covering a demanding topic. I also encourage short breaks when needed so students have time to process what we have covered before moving on to another set of questions.
BS
I teach SAT Math, Additional Mathematics, and Further Mathematics, with a particular interest in Calculus. I work with students on both the concepts behind a topic and the type of questions they are expected to solve.
I keep students involved by asking questions throughout the lesson instead of doing all the explaining myself. Their answers and working also give me a clear idea of what they have understood and where they need more practice.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)
I work as an Additional Mathematics tutor and have experience helping students with the subject through individual lessons. My focus is on helping students understand the methods used in their questions and giving them enough practice to use those methods independently.
I like to make problem-solving less intimidating by taking questions one part at a time. I usually work through an example with the student before asking them to try a similar question on their own.
MSc in Mathematics
I hold an MSc in Mathematics and teach Additional Mathematics and Calculus to students at different levels. I enjoy taking students beyond simply learning a formula and helping them understand how to use it when solving problems.
I pay attention to how each student follows an explanation. If one way of explaining a concept does not work, I try another approach until the idea becomes clear and the student can apply it independently.

I am a young and dynamic civil engineer with a strong passion for the education industry. I have been awarded the Vellapali Memorial Award and have been teaching since 2023. I have taught IB and GCSE curricula.
I use a mix of quizzes, games, videos, and other resources when they add value to a topic. I also pay attention to the pace of the lesson, giving students enough time to work through a concept before moving on.
