Following my Master's, I spent a memorable two years in Seville, soaking in the local customs, stories, and rich literary scene. This time in Spain added color to my teaching as I shared experiences of local festivals, flamenco rhythms, and traditional Spanish tales. Under my mentorship, many students have excelled in Spanish literature contests and showcased impressive performances.
My goal is to bring Spanish literature to life for my students. While they improve their language skills, they also journey through tales that echo the heartbeats of Spanish-speaking nations. From age-old classics to modern-day narratives, I provide a comprehensive literary experience. My classes are filled with lively debates, enabling students to voice their insights and appreciate varied viewpoints. Bachelor's in Spanish Linguistics with a focus on Phonetics
I've been assisting students in learning and appreciating the Spanish language for the past ten years. I can now teach students how to speak Spanish more naturally by emphasizing the language's sounds and rhythm thanks to my experience in phonetics. I frequently visit Spanish-speaking nations on my summer vacations, which has improved my understanding of the distinctive accents and dialects of various locales.
For me, speaking Spanish correctly is more than just knowing the words; it's about getting the sound right. That's why in my classes, we practice a lot on pronunciation and making sure words sound just like how a local would say them. We use listening exercises, repeat-after-me sessions, and even some fun tongue twisters to get the sounds just right. Alongside this, we cover the essential grammar and vocabulary parts, ensuring that students get a complete learning experience.

I genuinely didn't think I'd find a class focusing on how words sound interesting, but George proved me wrong. I can see and hear the difference in how I speak Spanish now. It's clearer and sounds more natural. Wish we had a bit more on Spanish history though.
