Our tutors have been teaching students in different settings for many years. All of their lessons are based on the student’s pace and ability. Take your time to see the reviews, schedule, and rates of MTS tutors. Parents are also given a choice to select a female or male tutor for their child.
M.A. in World War Era History
I have been teaching for 12 years, mainly focusing on the IB curriculum. I started studying at a well-known international school in Birmingham. I developed a way of learning that combines different subjects to understand the complexities of the World War era. I have also organised many workshops to help IB students with their Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, and Paper 3. These workshops make sure that students are prepared and feel confident.
The IB History course, especially when studying World War era, asks students to carefully examine events with a focus on how they are connected globally. In my classes, we focus on both the major events and the human stories and emotions connected to these events. We examine primary and secondary sources. We look at bias, context, and draw conclusions based on what we learn.Working together is encouraged. Students often work together in groups to have discussions, give presentations, and complete projects. They do this to learn about different viewpoints on historical events. For those getting ready for IB assessments, we practise answering questions in a structured way. We focus on evaluating sources and creating arguments that consider both sides.
She was able to make the time period of the World War quite interesting. However, I was hoping for a greater emphasis on the post-war restructuring of geopolitical power.
In my instance, it was IB History, and Ava is really friendly and tries her best to help you in every way she can. She offers several top-notch sources for research and has a wealth of historical knowledge. Her courses are not only incredibly interesting and enjoyable, but also very beneficial. Ava is a great teacher, and her engaging attitude keeps you focused and attention during the entire course.
I felt like we sometimes strayed from the IB syllabus requirements, despite the fact that the instructor had a great deal of knowledge and an engaging teaching approach.
Master's in Computer Science
I started working in the corporate tech industry after finishing my Master's degree. I have experience in application development from working with top software firms. After some time, I developed a strong interest in education. I have been teaching at a local university for the past decade, helping students with computer science.
For me, computer science is all about logical thinking and problem-solving. Before starting to write code, it's important to make sure you understand the problem you're trying to solve. I really like using real-world examples to make complex ideas easier to understand. I often talk with students about the reasoning behind an app they use every day before trying to code something similar. It's important to me that students not only write the code but also understand why each line is written.
Andre's approach is new and interesting. A lot of teachers start with coding right away, but he takes his time. He will instead connect an idea to something you use every day, like an app on your phone. As soon as you start writing code, everything makes sense. He can take even the most complicated ideas and make them easier to understand. I now really understand what it means to "think like a programmer" thanks to him.
Computer science has always seemed a little scary to me. But Andre is good at breaking things down. There is an equal amount of study and practice in his sessions. He often stops writing code to talk about the "why" or theory behind a function. It has been hard to learn, but I really think I'm getting there. The way he combines theory and practice is really helpful.
Andre is clearly knowledgeable, and his real-world examples do help in understanding. But I often feel like our meetings are too much. He quickly talks about a lot of things.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science-Faculty Of Pharmacy
I’m a certified biology tutor with the utmost communication and teaching skills. I’m also working as a part-time pharmacist. I’m great at tutoring and explaining biological concepts to senior and junior-level Bio students. I have tutored A/O-level, 12th-grade, high-school and diploma students. More than 80% of my students show excellent performance after getting my sessions.
I tutor biology with practical examples. My sessions are filled with digital lab tours, and visual experiments. Students are also allowed to express their concerns, expectations, and opinions for improving the upcoming lesson plans. I never plan my lessons without knowing the interests of my students.
I had fun in her sessions! She used detailed digital images and other resources to explain the concepts to me. In short, Mary is a great tutor!
Her sessions were informative, and amazing. She made everything easy to understand! I’m surely going to recommend her to my friends!
She provided very professional and helpful guidance to help me pass my A-level final exam feeling lucky!
Ph.D. in Medieval European History
I have spent 12 years studying medieval European societies in the academic world. I studied the Middle Ages at the University of Oxford. I learned about feudal systems and the church's influence on society. I have given talks at many conferences around the world. In the past 7 years, I have become a teacher and have been sharing my passion with students at prestigious universities.
Engagement is crucial. Rather than a one-way lecture, our sessions will be discussions. I'll provide context, and together, we'll understand the causes and effects. This dialogue method helps in retaining information and creates better understanding.Visual aids, such as maps, photographs, and diagrams, will often accompany our discussions. They provide a thorough understanding, allowing you to 'see' the history we're discussing.Lastly, my aim is for you to understand the broader picture – how past events have shaped the world we live in now. With clarity and focused discussions, our journey through history will be both insightful and comprehensive.
My son's A Level history teacher for the past few months has been Ava. He had lost faith in this subject, but Ava has done a great job. He has been looking forward to his lessons and has told me after each one how much he has learned. This subject is very interesting to Ava, and you can really tell by how enthusiastic and experienced she is. Also, she is very calm, friendly, and easy to get along with, which has been great for one-on-one lessons.
After a hard time during lockdown, Ava is getting my son interested in history again. She knows a lot about history and can help students improve their writings and answers by looking over them and giving them advice. My son, Josh, has found his tutoring lessons interesting and helpful. The talks about the writings are also helping him feel more confident. We're very happy.
Ava's feedback on assignments was detailed and constructive. It really helped me hone my writing skills.

Diploma in Information Communication Technology (ICT)
Learning computer science and exploring its intriguing concepts has been my passion since I was in school. I used to explain complex and hard-to-understand concepts to my friends and peers during my school, college, and university days. Now, I’m here to help students in faraway countries learn computer science easily.
I focus more on practical work. I assign quizzes and assignments to the students to increase their practice time. Further, I use activities that support and boost students’ cognitive and critical thinking skills.
He is incredibly amazing, patient, humble, and very talented. He helped my daughter during her final exams, and it was an amazing experience.
He is one of the most talented tutors on the internet. I hired him when I was completing my thesis, and because of his help, I was able to complete my thesis with much less frustration.
Kasib is amazing! I’m going to hire him again in the future!
MSc in Information Technology
After finishing my Master's degree in Information Technology, I became interested in working in education because I love sharing knowledge. I started my career by working directly with software development and systems analysis. This helped me gain a strong understanding of how ICT is used in real-world situations.I started teaching more than ten years ago and have been dedicated to helping students with the IB curriculum in ICT. My experience in the industry has been very helpful in giving practical examples in my lessons.
Hello! In my ICT lessons, it is important to interact with others. Imagine our sessions as a two-way street. I don't just talk, we work together. Every topic begins with a situation or a question. Then, we will look at different ways to solve the problem, learn about the tools that can help us, and understand the skills that are needed. You will be involved in every step, whether we are coding a new program or exploring digital communication. I want to make sure that you are the focus of your learning experience. My goal is to make ICT concepts easy to understand and applicable to real-life situations.
My kid has met with Aurora three times so far to help him with his IB computer work. She has been a great teacher. My son says Aurora seems to really understand the subject, has a plan, and is kind, supportive, and patient. She has been great at communicating with us, and I can tell that her help has made a difference in my son's mood and confidence. I highly recommend her!
I hired Aurora to teach my son IB ICT after hearing good things about her from someone else. My son didn't want to take lessons at all, but after the first one, he was very happy. The fact that they are not too far apart in age helps because Aurora knows how to talk to him. Right now, my son said that she helps him understand ICT better. Their studies are going well, and I hope that he will get the grade he needs by the end of the year.
Her vast experience in the field and her teaching method are a perfect combination. She has a knack for simplifying complicated topics, making them easy to understand.

MA in Italian Philology and Translation
of connecting different languages. I worked as a translator for five years before becoming a teacher. For the past 12 years, I have enjoyed helping students understand the complex grammar of the Italian language, appreciate its musicality, and enjoy its expressive nature.I have also conducted workshops on translation, where I showed how we can express meaning in different languages while keeping the cultural significance intact.
I think immersion is important. Italian language has a unique essence that can be felt in its everyday usage, literature, and art. In my classes, students are encouraged to fully engage themselves. This includes having conversations, reading parts of famous Italian books, and even translating well-known songs.I focus on understanding rather than memorization. I make sure my students can use what they learn in real life, like when they go to Italy or watch an Italian film without subtitles.
Ms. Blanchet's sessions are an eye-opener. The translation exercises she provides have notably improved my understanding and appreciation of the Italian language. Wonderful teacher. Patient and easy to work with. I would suggest this class to anyone who wants to learn Italian in a fun and friendly setting:)
She's kind, clear, and always ready for class. The time goes by really quickly when she teaches this way. I'm happy with the three hours a week I work now. Also, it was nice of her to be flexible when I had to stop a lesson. I would definitely recommend it!.
I suggest Eva because she is a fun, well-trained teacher who wants me to get better at Italian. The lessons are both fun and well-planned, which makes the time we spend together very useful. I have tried many other ways to improve my Italian, but I think that spending time with Eva is by far the best way to make quick progress in all areas: speaking, writing, and understanding. All of these are important for everyday life.
