Hi everyone! My name is Bayan and I hold a master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Artificial Intelligence, Abu Dhabi. Currently, I’m also completing my Ph.D. in statistics. I’m excited to introduce myself as an experienced and highly passionate Further Math tutor. Master's in East Asian Studies
In my nine years as a teacher, I have focused on Japanese culture and literature to help students learn more than just the language. Reading traditional stories and modern fiction in Japanese can help you understand how the Japanese language started and evolved.
I believe it's important to include literature in my teaching methods. Language and literature are closely connected. So, when I teach, I spend a lot of time reading out loud from different Japanese books. These books can be old or new and are popular among people. Students can learn grammar and vocabulary in a specific context, which makes the process fun and educational.
Ms. Yin's approach is wonderful. I've not only learned the language but also developed an appreciation for Japanese literature. She taught with a lot of energy and made things easy to understand.

MPhil in Urdu Language Teaching
With a focus on the practical use of the Urdu language use, I strive to develop lesson plans to help Urdu learners develop confidence in using and understanding this language. I’ve done MPhil in Urdu language teaching and have also trained Urdu-native teachers regarding designing lesson plans and successfully implementing them in different learning environments, i.e., one-on-one f2f sessions, online personalized sessions, grouped sessions, and classrooms.
I place emphasis on developing lesson plans that are closely aligned with each student’s learning requirements. To achieve this, I incorporate interesting language activities into the sessions and allow them to play relevant games. Furthermore, I also make an effort to organize international and national online language conferences in order to connect my students with the Urdu community and expose them to different dialects of the Urdu language.
My Urdu language skills have improved incredibly since I started taking sessions from her. She made the lessons very interesting, and I never felt bored at all!

I became interested in Latin during my time as an undergraduate student, and my interest grew even stronger when I pursued my master's degree. I have been teaching for almost ten years and it has been a great privilege to pass on my love for this old language to younger students. Latin is not only a language, but also a connection to a past era. Over time, I have adjusted my teaching methods to meet the needs of many different students. I have enjoyed teaching both students who view Latin as just another subject and those who are truly passionate about it. Every student, no matter what they were interested in before, always leaves my class with a new respect and interest in Latin.
When I learn Latin, I don't just see words. I see stories, culture, and the beginning of understanding. I focus on making complex things simpler. Instead of overwhelming students with a lot of information, I prefer simplifying things and making them easier to understand. We explore stories from ancient Rome, learn about the origins of modern English words, and sometimes play games related to Latin. Latin is best learned by being fully involved in it. So, my classes often include things from the past, like what people saw and heard, to help students completely learn Latin.
