Hi, I’m Muhammad Zafar, an MPhil in Mathematics with over 14 years of teaching experience. My CGPA in MPhil Math is 3.79/4.00. Currently, I teach at a well-reputed college and have previously taught at Punjab College, Pakistan's largest educational group, from 2016 to 2020. I have been teaching since 2012, covering mathematics for grades 1 to 12, including O/A levels, GCSE, and IGCSE. My experience spans various reputable colleges, universities, and online platforms.
I teach math in a clear and effective manner, making complex problems more manageable and helping students develop a love for the subject. I emphasize the importance of answer and question sessions, and regularly assign tasks to provide feedback. My expertise includes teaching math from grades 1 to 12, covering topics such as algebra, calculus, trigonometry, ordinary differential equations, and geometry.
Bachelors in Engineering
I completed my undergraduate degree in the year 2004 and have subsequently engaged in various teaching roles. I started online teaching in 2013 and have worked with students from various educational backgrounds. I teach mathematics to students preparing for O-level and A-level, and I’m familiar with different boards and their exam patterns.
I usually focus on making my students independent learners. So, I encourage them to think through the problems instead of just following steps and memorizing formulas. I make sure that the concepts are clear and also ensure regular practice.
Bachelor of Education
I have 14 years of teaching experience and developing excellent rapport with students. I have supervised stimulating learning centres and reviewed the scheduling of exams. My management skills are excellent, and I have the ability to keep students on task.
My tutoring approach is developing and implementing daily and unit lesson plans, administer testing, track and analyze students’ performance. I prefer understanding students’ needs and delivering a lecture that suits their pace. For me, acquiring the core concepts or interest in the subject is more important than stressing over grades and learning like a machine.
Rawan made this difficult subject much less daunting for me. She explains everything very clearly and is always open to questions. I would recommend her to all.

MS in Electrical Engineering
I have around 13 years of experience teaching Mathematics and Physics at the school and college levels. Over the years, I’ve worked with different curricula, including GCSE, A Level, CBSE, as well as local systems like Matric and FSc. Most of my work has been helping students understand concepts clearly and improve their performance in exams. I usually focus on making math easier to relate to, especially by connecting it with real-life examples, so students don’t just memorize formulas but actually understand them.
I start by explaining the topic in an easy way, then we do a few examples together, and after that, I let the student try some questions on their own. I keep asking small questions during the lesson just to make sure they’re following along. If something is not clear, I slow down and explain it again in a different way. I also adjust my teaching style based on the students' needs. Some need more basic explanation, some just need practice.
Math is challenging for anyone. I have been struggling with complex mathematical concepts. But, Thanks to my math tutor. B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
I’ve taught students of all ages and of different backgrounds. I’m good at teaching geometry, trigonometry, calculus, basic statistics, and algebra. I try my best to bring students’ engagement to the maximum level with the help of activities and materials used in the sessions. This helps students understand concepts clearly.
I use very interactive, engaging, and the latest tutoring methodologies in my one-one-sessions. My favorite approach for tutoring math to the elementary-level student is Concrete Representational Abstract (CRA) approach; this three-step-learning approach allows my students to manipulate concrete objects for drawing abstract observations and then solving math problems with created abstract notions. For higher-level students, I adjust my teaching based on the topic and student needs, using step-by-step problem solving and different methods like logical reasoning and structured practice.
