MSc Mathematics
I have an M.Sc. in Math and 4 years of tutoring experience under my belt. Working so closely with schools has given me a really good look at how examiners and teachers actually think, so I know exactly what they want to see from you on your papers.
I use PowerPoints, slides, and cards to present information to the student. I ask frequent questions to test whether the student is attentive and understands what is being taught to him or her.
MSc.Ed Mathematics
I am currently working as an IBDP and IGCSE Mathematics teacher at The International School Bangalore since February 2024. I teach IB Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches, Applications and Interpretation), IGCSE Additional Mathematics, and also support Theory of Knowledge and MSP Mathematics. Before this, I worked at Candor International School in Bengaluru as a Mathematics educator from August 2022 to January 2024. During this time, I taught IGCSE Mathematics and MSP Mathematics.
I am a great enthusiast of teaching and I plan my lessons to develop the interest of students in the subject area. I regularly use practice questions to check understanding and help students improve gradually.
Master in Math
I have worked as a Math tutor in one-to-one settings, helping students understand and work through difficult topics. I have also taught undergraduate Mathematics as a full-time teacher at a university in Dubai, where I handled core subjects and supported students with coursework, practice, and exam preparation.
I don’t believe in delivering lectures without knowing the student’s interests, strengths, and weaknesses. Before deciding what to teach and how to teach, I conduct a detailed interview session with the student and allow him to share his ideas, expectations, and suggestions. The lectures are then designed according to the students’ requirements. My one-on-one sessions revolve around interesting, fun, and innovative activities.
